Kingdom of Heaven or Not?

I need some feedback here...a little Force Feedback. Any of you readers seen this flick? Is it worth my money, cause out here I'm staring at $10 a pop to see a flick, and that's before corn. So, should I lay down the green for this, or is it a DVD rental? I mean, let's face it, this looks like Gladiator/Troy/Arthur you pick it rolled up into one. But I'm thinking some of you homeboys couldn't resist checking it out. So I need to know if it's something I need to check out. Let the information flow...

I'm thinking of watching it Saturday night (of course it's free for me) so I can let you know then. I'm not expecting too much from it though since a friend of mine said it's pretty much all about religious tolerance, boo.

I finally got to see the KOH. I liked it ok. It was definitely better than the other epics of the last season, Troy, Arthur, and Alexander...although I can't say much about Alexander because I didn't see the pic.

KOH had some great scenes, I loved the cinematography of the movie. Especially the siege scenes at night. Liam Neeson's character was underused in my opinion, he should have lasted longer than he did...as in Star Wars. Also, those dudes that were training Orlando's character, the other knights riding around with Neeson, those dudes were cool. Hopefully in the director's cut there is more action with them. I believe the ambush in the forest is my favorite scene of the movie. It reminded me of 13th Warrior...which is one of the coolest movies around.

Overall, a good film. Will I buy it on DVD, probably not because I don't see it as having the replay value of Braveheart, Gladiator, or 13th Warrior. But does it stink, no. Is it the end of the historical epic in the theaters for some time? Probably.
