The Sahara, and my adventures therein...

Ok, so this movie is way under-rated. I was going to wait until a few weeks before I went to see it but I'm glad I didn't beacause, O MY GOSH! This movie rocks in everyway. I loved (McConahauey my spelling)McConaughey (actual spelling, pretty close) in this role. He was so smooth, and his fighting scenes were awesome. I noticed that all the punches had that "crack" very similar to Indy's punches. Ole' Steve Zahn's character had me cracking up the whole movie. That scene where they put their weapons down before a Thwarie ambush was classic! You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. I love this movie. A word to the wise, don't go in expecting it to be all realistic and stuff. Go in expecting Indiana or Bond. It's fanciful and it's meant to be taken that way. The storyline was very cool too, me being a Civil War buff made it extra cool. It will be in my collection when it comes out. I give this movie Five out of five reels! (I just made that up. We can give them ratings and instead of stars we'll use movie reels! I'm way cool!)

JediJohnson's Interesting Point

I must say BRAVO to JediJohnson. I really think he's hit on something there about the "Sahara" poster reflecting a little "Golden Child" and "The Mummy". Did a quick comparison for your thoughts. Wow, they really ripped "The Golden Child" down to the sun in the background and the coin...Bravo.

Laughing his way to the bank...

Man. I remember when I was this kid. My friends Ninja Ray, John Kay, our very own loveable Joel Goff, and I used to go out in our back yards and fight with out lightsaber broomsticks for hours on end. Why didn't we ever think to film it and sell it on the net for thousands of dollars. That's right, this kid made over $4,000 for being the butt of somebody's joke. Great! I couldn't love it more. If you've not seen this you must watch it. The clone wars sequel is especially brilliant!
